Chobi - Ziegler rugs (also referred as Peshawar rugs) derived its name from an area largely settled by Turkoman tribes from Afghanistan. Usually chobi - ziegler rugs are woven in allover designs, antique designs, repeat patterns and medallion. Chobi rugs are made with natural vegetable dyes (produce soft varying shades of the same color) and Ghazni handspun wool (famous for its durability and natural sheen). Chobi rugs are also famous due to their soft patterns and mild tones.
